What do you guys think of the rims on my car? I know the center caps don't match, they are there just temporary. I am debating on weather to leave the rims black or take the black paint off and make them original again. If I leave them black I have another set of center caps I would paint. Let me know what you guys think.

Lower the car, looks fine. Black wheels are an aquired taste.

Perfect!

With that elevated ride height you can add some grabber tires and really tear up the back country.

A Monster 928 in the making?

On a black car, maybe. One thing you might consider is removing the paint from the ring at the outermost part of the wheel. All black is too much and when you have a thin metallic ring around the outside it looks much better. I've seen people do this before and it looks ok.

Keep 'em for winter spares and buy a nice shiny set for warm summer nights... (you're not in Alaska, are you?)

Johnny, don't miss the part about your ride height!

Looks like a four wheel drive 928.

I do like the car color though.

Ouch.... it looks like the black paint didn't go over well. I bought these from a guy who had already had them painted. I wasn't sure weather to leave them black or strip the paint off. I agree with you Hacker-Pschorr when you say the car needs to be lowered. The back seems to be an ok height but the front looks like I have a doughnut spare tire on it with all the space between the wheel and the fender. How hard is it to lower the front of the car???

It also looks like the tires are too low a profile , too small they need to be 225x50x16 assuming that these are 7 inch 928 S wheels and NOT 6 inch wide 944 rims which look the same ...

I thought about painting my dish wheels black but opted instead to get a set of 16" phone dials and paint them instead to use as winter wheels with appropriate 205/55/16 winter tires. Sorry for the dark picture, but here's an idea for you if you're looking for alternatives:
