Yeah, and it hauled about 1/5th of a face cord of wood. I took pics at my parents' house, will post them later.
The car was.... Heavy in the rear. Didn't bottom out, but was lower and the front was even higher than normal. Plenty of power for acceleration but still felt a bit like I had a load of logs in the back.
Putting down plastic was a *very* good idea as otherwise the rear AC unit would be full of wood.
This is a very versatile car.

I wish I was locked up in the garage with the 928.
Sitting "locked up" on a ship due to go home since 1 week (100 days onboard today) with no prospects of travelling for several months maybe.
Ports visited the last month include Japan, S Korea, China, Taiwan and Malaysia. Heading for Singapore now and later Europe via Suez canal.
At least we have plenty toilet paper onboard

Finally will be getting around to replacing the injectors on my 82S Euro ( waiting on the seals from Roger to come in ). Then to get out and put on some miles to see what else it may need lol. Oh and I just found my Hans shifter that needs to be installed...

Setting up a Megasquirt 3X ECU for the 81 engine sitting here with no electronics.
Plottingevil how to attach the tooth wheel behind the pulley nearest the harmonic balancer, and contemplating "just" designing a new one that is hub-centric and cutting it out on the little CNC machine in the shop.
Then the decision on whether to try the intake alone on the 78, or to do a basic refresh of the 81 engine and swap it out with the 78's engine (with the temperamental CIS that barely runs and is begging for a few $K of parts and labor to get running correctly.)
Plenty of things to stay busy with, and then my work informed the employees that we were deemed essential industries and would be staying open.
Bah! 😁

^^ Use a factory wheel found on the LH cars like an S3 or S4 then drill and mount a factory style pulse sensor.
Or you could do what I was going to do with a MS3X and use the hall sensor inside of the factory distributor as a signal. It will simplify packaging a lot compared to making a custom timing wheel.
