Default help identifying manual trans input bearing

As the title says I need help identifying a 5 speed input shaft bearing I have.

My transmission is from another 86.5 car so it should have part number 92830215210. This is the bearing in my trans (old photo, it's in the car right now). It's a *** bearing, number 562306.

This other bearing I have is an SKF marked BB1-3105 (which I can't find a cross reference for anywhere). It was in a box with the 85+ bearing part number, but then I realized it has "->1984" written on the box in marker. I know this isn't a definitive way to tell, but every photo I've found of the post 85 bearing is a 9 ball bearing and every 84 and down I've seen is a 10 ball. This other bearing I have is a 10 ball.

Here are some pictures of the bearing I have. Can anyone tell from the photos/part number/dimensions if this bearing is correct for 85+ or 84-? I'd hate to get around to pulling my trans and finding out this is the wrong bearing.

The bearing you have is for a 1978-1984 transmission.

The bearing you need has the exact same internal measurements, with the same "major" OD. The minor OD should be 92mm.

I've got "overwhelming" inventory of both of these bearings.....way more than I suspect I will ever use. If it helps you out and you would like to trade, I'd be willing to help you out. (I've got inventory before Porsche ran out of these bearings....my bearings are still *** part # "562306" with 9 *****.)

I'd be happy to take you up on that offer. Want me to give you guys a call (probably getting close to lunchtime there)?

Greg, I talked to Mary and she's sending the correct bearing out for me. I managed to catch the UPS store while it was still open (it's just around the corner from the house) so mine is on it's way as well. As far as I can tell everything looks pristine with this bearing, it was just in the wrong box for the part number, but if anything turns out to be off with it we'll get squared up. They said it should be arriving Wednesday (I emailed Mary the tracking info). Thanks again!

My bearing arrived today from you Greg. Hopefully the one from me made it to you safely (tracking says delivered). Thanks again.
