For the S4, perhaps a pic of the 8" would be good since it shows the increased size as opposed to the earlier cars.

Yes, I agree with heinrich. More, I would suggest showing front & rear on all that have differences between F & R. Just add a new column. For those that are the same, you could just have an image in the "rear" column that says "same".

chuck, looks good and informative. I note that the centers are not necessarily correct for the particular wheels.......am I being picky?

We all appreciate your site..............

heinrich and SharkSkin,

Did you guys click on the wheel pics and see the page behind it with more pics of cars with the original wheels?

BD,

Any more details on this wheel?

Question for all/anyone:

Has anyone EVER seen a 928 with the winter wheels on it? Better yet, does anyone have a picture of a 928 with winter wheels?

Gretch,

No you're not, I noticed that while I was building the page. Problem is, I only have a limited number of decent wheel pics to choose from. If anyone has good high quality wheel pics of wheels in good condition with the correct caps, email them to me.

Gretch,

I think those are original center caps. The pictures are of the 1989 928 GT I used to own.

Also, I found a couple pics of the winter wheel on a 928 in a 1979 brochure. Quality isn't great but its the only picture of a 928 with these wheels I've ever seen.

Hi Chris,

I mention that in the 1987 to 1991 928 S4 section and mention the Design 90 is/was a no cost option on the 90 and 91 S4.

Then there must have been some options, because mine (which came with the car) are the flat ones with no color.

Not me.

Have pictures of '86S US model with winter wheels. Will check from cars owner if it's ok to have them online.
