Default Cable near Brake booster

Hello! I'm Andreas from Germany. I recently bought a 928 S model year 1983. I'm restoring it to bring it back on the street at the moment. I have some issues I can't realy get into with the wiring diagram and the porsche parts list because I can't find infos about it. It's a plug someone just jumped. It's close to the brake booster and I can't follow the cables, I have seen something beeing plugged in in other pictures. Does someone know what's supposed to be plugged in there? Is it for the brake light switch? As you can see further down someone removed the original plug.

Thanks!

I don't own an early car, so can't go look for you. Next best is the wiring diagrams.

The brake light switches include a pair of 3-pin connectors, each with black-red, black, and blue-brown conductors. That pretty much rules out your connector for that duty.

Since the sleeve is broken there just behind the connector itself, look for the wire colors inside. I see just a hint of brown in the one little exposed section. Get both wire colors and we can look for candidates.

And.... Welcome to Rennlist and the 928 technical forum!

Looks like brake pad warning connector. It looks like the loop of wire is there to bypass warning light.

No ABS on '83, so not that sensor. Could be the pad sensor. Look for brown-with-black-stripe for both wires in the sleeve. Sheet VII at rung 30 shows it.

Thats the brake pad wear sensor harness the small jumper is to keep the string alive,
once the continuity is broken then the light will be triggered.
The small jumper takes the place of the long lead that goes to the brake pads
