Oh, what a great year '95 was. Boston U just won the college hockey championship, I was studying for the MCATs, and my daily was the "T". Mother sold my white special edition '87 Acura Integra 5 spd without my permission during college. Porsche 928? My wet dream at that time....

My partner and I accepted an unsolicited bid to buy our company and negotiated as part of the purchase contract, a clause allowing us to replace our vehicle(s) as they knew I had burned up the jeep in the building of the business
I located my Midnight blue manual 1995 GTS sitting on the sales floor of the local Porsche dealer and purchased it as my "replacement" vehicle.
CEO of the purchasing company wasn't upset as he was a Porsche fanatic himself and only asked for ride in my new GTS.
Still have it to this day; 25 years later...

Fantastic!

Congratulations on having a work ethic that allowed you such a fantastic result!

Are there any photos of your car circulating? Can you post them if not? Thx!

In 1995, I either drove a '91 Miata, or was in mourning over how a dealer ruined the engine without admitting blame. The details make for an excellent puzzler. Put a new engine in it, eventually. My other car was an '86 Saab 9000 Turbo.

It must have been around 1995 when I finally spotted two special cars parked next to each other in the General Electric lot. I had been waiting for a year or two. The two cars: a 928 and an AMC Pacer.

I believe the World Wide Web went mainstream in 1995.
