Custom centrifugal supercharger kit for sale
#18
You really don't need the ECU, custom Chips could be programmed with a Shark Tuner , right?
Add a larger Fuel pump and bigger 36/42 # injectors, wide band O2 for tuning, some rubber tubing to feed the inter cooler, and
These work well in an LSD Auto
For the custom bits your selling it's a great buy!
Please kep in mind you can not compare this kit to kit's for mass market cars like mustangs
Kits like this have Custom 928 specific parts, think low production
All the set up knowledge has great support right here in the super charged threads too.
Best of luck with your sale,
Dave K

One of my 928's was an early prototype for the Murf928 kit. As I said before the development of BC's kit was to be the next phase of the Murf928 kit, but the economy crashing 12 or so years ago put a dampener on those plans. The kits you linked to cannot hold a candle to the setup BC is selling, they were never intended to produce this kind of power, it's a whole different level.
If BC's setup were ever sold as a turn key kit, the retail cost would have been upwards of $12,000 or more, and before the big crash we had people in line to buy them. So your take on the market isn't accurate one bit. I'm sure you are also aware that $12k in 2008 doesn't buy you as much today as it did back then.
Would we have sold a ton of them? Nope, that was never the goal, 928 production numbers are not high enough to support mass producing something like that.
Look, I understand what you are saying and I trust that your intentions are good. But it's really rude to come into a thread where someone is selling something and crap all over it like you are doing. BC's attitude notwithstanding, if you don't like it, just ignore the thread. Typically comments like yours are usually deleted in for sale threads. Since I have so much history with this setup I decided to instead address some of the questions for BC.
I have a long history with supercharger kits beyond 928's and quite frankly, most "kits" I see are complete garbage that I wouldn't even put on a Mustang, much less a Porsche.

Clean-up on aisle 928!
Folks, this isn't a discussion about whether this Murf package is good. It is. It's a kit of parts that are known to play well together. Is it a complete bolt-on-and-forget-it 650HP? Probably not. There are other things needed, and those things are pretty well documented. Tim has been very good about supporting users, even second-hand users who buy and install these packages. I propose that, rather than being ignorantly critical of all that, you might do some more research into the package. That would eliminate the comments about having to fabricate plumbing from the intercooler to he intake and the heads. That plumbing is intake gaskets.
The market for this package is someone who has done some research and appreciates the engineering and component selections made. Simple as that. Please don't confuse "aggressive" with "defensive", especially when trying to defend against what otherwise appears to be ignorance.
I'm going to leave the thread open, in the hope that it doesn't run off the rails again. If it does, I'll close it.
Thanks for reading!
