Aft center console mounting points.
Any one have a center console out or have images of what the two mounting bracket on the console look like. Mine are so far gone its rediculous. I've been making by with an add lib bracket or two. Just need something to go by.
I'd like to make something in plate aluminum that I can bond and rivet in. Similar to this point that was toast up by the glove box... Just finished it.
Center console bracket by the glove box. Cracked.. Broken.. Rebuilt with aluminum. Attatched with epoxy and rivets
Center console bracket back side...
Aft mounting points that I need pics off.
Aft left mounting bracket.. Need pics of these as far as general shape etc.

This what I have come up with so far. Sheet metal allows for the bracket to bend and follow the contours.. And is thin enough not to interfere with the carpeted side panels or switche.... And there is enough surface area for epoxying it to what ever plastic is there.
Think I have the general shape done... Not Going to put holes in the metal yet until I see a pic or two. I'd guess the holes are elongated to allow for adjustments.

I can send pics and even trace out the brackets on Saturday. I also got some left over plastic cut out from the center part of the console from my double din install, and I plastic welded it to the back of the bracket. still have more to do but its tons better.

well this is ugly..and I tried different variations of the idea but flexible sheet metal seemed to work the best.
I tried thicker metal then saw it would cause an issue fitting with the brackets on the tunnel and the cover for the switches underneath...thicker metal was tough to bend to the contours I had it mounted to also.
Glued surfaces were scuffed up..epoxied and then riveted. Actually prett damn sturdy.
i will add the holes when everything goes back in.
Happy with it now..
