I would like to install new door stops on my S4/MY88; I have no clue how complex the job is and if doable by a non-professional. IS there any video/picture which could help me with this task? I read that new stops are usually more "aggressive" than old ones, meaning more effective in self-closing the door but also more noisy... I also read that moly grease lubrication helps minimizing the problems and smoothing the mechanism. Thanks in advance...
With the door card off, you can get er done with some patience and worst case a magnet to help IIRC...and patient fingers. The door card is the "hard" part, and it isnt that hard.
In the thread to the link someone mentioned a different fixing method for the door stop problem using Jageng door stay kits. The link does not seem to work anymore, anyone can check and confirm what this wonder kit consists of and if it is still available to see and eventually buy?

They're shims to grab the rollers in the OEM assembly better that sandwich onto the arm that goes into the door,

I have been using the DC 111 on the door check and the rollers this to keep water from rusting the metal rollers once they rust the door check will rapidly wear out
the water runs off the front edge of the window seal and drips onto the door check
