Default Sealing / painting heads

So, building the heads later this week. Spent some time cleaning the outside of the heads.
Understanding that it won’t stay that shiny for long.

looking for advice or BTDT on a sealant or paint or polish that will hold up over time.

Is the any concern over increasing engine temps when painted.

If clear coat on heads heads has been use without yellowing please advise.

thanks all.

You can barley see them...spend the money on something else. Ceramic coat the headers etc?

Default Probably right

I was thinking this was an inexpensive task that was just labor intensive.

The way it’s going, it may be years before this is installed. Want to look at it oooohhhhh aaahhh while in the garage

I'm not sure what paint was used on Minerva's heads and cam carriers, but they look like the original aluminum, but better. Fantastic appearance!

William Anast or Rob Edwards should know. There's one other person that might know, but he's asked me to never use his name, again. Makes any sort of contact.....difficult.

Default Thanks

Will try to dig a bit deeper.

My head still hurts from trying to figure out what coolant to use after reading the posts.
