Default Repair crack on rear spoiler top surface

A couple of years ago I inadvertently crunched into a speed bump that I forgot was present. The resultant motion caused the rear hatch to fling open and slam back down and the shock caused a crack in the middle of the top surface of GTS spolier running front to rear.

Looking for any suggestions/tips as to how best to effect the repair prior to repainting the top surface.

There was a thread here I read a while back somewhere with a guy reshaping and repairing what I seem to remember being a glove box door... I could be way off the mark here (not knowing what the spoiler material you're starting with is) but he'd used a sturdy foam product that needed to be mixed,,, started as a liquid,,, and would foam up and set quickly - filling in lots of gaps etc, to fill in the 'crack'... Then could be shaped and textured... I think that the super rough version is sold by Lowe's or HDepot as a fence post anchor product... Sika...?

This stuff... Just a shot in the semi dark...

Sorry... Just googled some images of the GTS spoiler,,, and I don't think I'm hitting the mark with this stuff... Was thinking it might be more like the soft foamy rubber-ish material on the earlier rear deck lid spoilers... My bad

No problem- thanks for the thoughts. The GTS looks as though it is encapsulated with something that seems like a hard shell type of material- probably nothing exotic but...?
