Default Introduction and Plans: 1979 Petrol Blue

Hello all, I'm new to the 928 community. Allow myself to introduce my 1979 Petrol Blue/Cork 928, purchased on BaT in early October. ~$79k miles. It seems to be in decent shape and the paint is original. It has a few projects that I'd like to take care of over the next few years. Roughly in order of priority:
- Replace fuel lines (Greg Brown)
- Replace clutch master and slave cylinders and lines (there's evidence that the MC is leaking)
- Dash pod lights don't work
- There's evidence of a leak, under the engine toward the drivers side, haven't investigated further
- Fix/replace A/C system
- Fix cruise control
- Recover dash
- (I would remove the front splitter but I think that will leave holes in the bumper)

I'm sure more will pop up, but those are the biggies at the moment. One at a time. Anyway, here are a few pictures:

Sweet condition interior but it looks like another OB with a cut trim panel for an aftermarket radio. People are such animals!

Lovely! I really like the cork. I'm actually thinking about cork-ifiying my red S4. Just gotta get the 2nd mortgage signed.

in all fairness to this owner he has had it almost 40 years. I bet back in the 80's it needed a new radio and that just what they did.

Great looking car. Hope you end up loving it as much as I do mine! And welcome to a site that will give you tons of useful info and advice, including where to find the 928 experts who can fix your more difficult problems. Big hint: most Porsche dealerships do not seem to know how to fix this model. Find an expert!

Great car and congrats!
Petrol blue/cork is the best combo, I had 2 and sold 1.

@Mark Anderson That interior is almost perfect, why dismantling it?
