For all interested, there are three more original dashes in the warehouse in Atlanta, as far as I know. Susan at Devek knows how to access this source. The down side as someone has mentioned is the cost. However, the one I got is just great and even looks as if it will match the other interior parts. Now to get the JustDashes dash off and the original installed and I will be on a healing path. If anyone wants to replace there dash, call Susan and she will arrange the whole deal. Give up lunch for a few months and invest in the original, if you can. And after these three, I found a good used dash for $400 in Germany at a link Nicole was kind enough to research; unfortunately, when I ordered the original I deleted the link. I think it was Freisinger (?) They responded immediately with the information and that they had one in my color in stock and in good condition. $400 is not too much for a good dash.

-For what it is worth...Greg of the 86.5 was at Sharks In The Mountains '03 with his car, and he had a dash cover. Greg's an aircraft technician, so he's pretty mechanically inclined of course, but that cap that he used was barely visible. Unless you are a complete purist, the cap he displayed was amazingly stock-looking, the only clue being the fact that the pod had a section for the front and the back. Properly painted to match, I'd not have any problem putting those parts on my own car. These appear to be well designed parts.

ron - YIIIKEES!! thx for the warning on Just Dashes...I was planning to let them do my dash "right" when my cap finally blows off and wraps around my head at 80mph...the ad looked good and they were fine on the phone - so I thought they'd be relatively safe & easy, since they are somewhat local....maybe I'll just put a couple of holes in my cap so I can see when it pops off...

again - thx for the warning!!
