Default Unbunching Events

So...typically Frenzy is the last weekend of Sept, Sharktoberfest the 2nd weekend of Oct, and 3rd Coast the 1st weekend of Nov. That said these 3 larger events are bunched together with only 2 weeks seperating one from the other. This year the 3rd Coast event was moved back because of the F-1 races in Austin. (Hotels are normally sold out during F-1 weekend and very expensive if you can even find a room.) I've run new dates for Sharktoberfest past Greg Brown, Roger, Sean, Stan, and some 928'rs. They^^all agreed it would be nice to space out these events a bit and feel it best to move this event to the 2nd weekend in March. (Mar 13-15, 2020) Already spoke with the Phoenix Club events mgr and we can even keep the German theme going by having dinner there on Sat night. Also feel it would be a nice break for those living in cooler climates to head to Southern Califronia for there beautiful springtime weather (bonus...non-fire season). Can also come a bit early and hit some So Cal attractions and with no major holidays/events to conflict with these dates. Feedback would be great and maybe a new event name..."Springtoberfest" comes to mind T

ides: (in the ancient Roman calendar) a day falling roughly in the middle of each month (the 15th day of March, May, July, and October, and the 13th of other months) from which other dates were calculated.https://www.google.com/search?sxsrf=...10.TtweIBUb3SM

Car hibernates through March, until snow and deicer are gone sometime in mid-April.

When T and I talked about this last weekend I thought it was a great idea, and still do. I'm sure having it in the spring time would encourage more to make the trip, I know I would.

Tony,

Unbunching the events is a good idea, but for us Northerners March is pretty early. There can still be snow in the passes making it difficult to get to California and since there is often a pretty good contingent from the PNW and Canada, it would be a shame to shut us out. Late April, early May would be a better option. Besides, Mary says she she needs some time to decompress after this past Sharktoberfest!!!

Well alrighty then and thank you for your feedback^^. Good Friday/Easter weekend is Apr 10-12, 2020 so thats out. With^^said, how does the weekend of Apr 24-26 sound ? Late April daily temps in Orange, CA are in the mid 70's and precipitation is low. And as stated^^will give MB some much needed breathing room T

Giving serious consideration to a Sharks Event that piggybacks the Amelia Concours event. I think it's inevitable that there will be some crossover. As a Floridian, I MIGHT make Frenzy but doubt I'll make anything west of mississippi easily and I've never been one to fly in (no offense to those who do!)
