Do you have a copy of the manual? I can try to scan it if you don't. Also believe it or not the center console does open and has enough room for a pen.

I do not have the manual. If you could scan that would be great! I did notice the console opens and I really like the lone switch to turn on power for the phone!

I will get to it later this week and get back to you. The holiday season is upon us I can't get away from all these parties. Threw one for local PCA last night with nearly 200 members and 3 more this weekend to attend. LOL So if for some reason you don't hear from me soon PM me.

GL.

Herman Koster picked up the GTS Thanksgiving weekend and drove it down to Corpus Christi for the paint. Things are moving along and it should be in paint in a couple weeks.

Here is a progress shot, rub strips have been removed!

What did they use to fill the rubstrip holes?

I believe it was a mixture of baking soda and super glue, just kidding. They were TIG welded.

It will come out very nice I’m sure! But, got to get rid of those knock off air intake tubes and put the correct insulated ones that came with that car. If I had to guess why they are missing it’s because their black covering starts to peel off over 10 years or so of use, but those that are there don’t do the engine any justice, especially for the investment that you are putting in to the car.

I have a set of new S4 intake tubes that will be used for daily driving etc, the GTS tubes will be put on at events such as Frenzy, SITM, 3rd Coast etc.

Car is out of paint. I'm getting excited about picking her up! New rear wheel well liners and front spoiler on the way from Roger along with various other things so that Herman and team can finish putting her all back together!

2nd pass of buffing done. Love the look without the rub strips!
