The car ran great to and from 3rd Coast! I picked it up at Mike Hendricks and Sean was nice enough to squeeze me in and do a flexplate check among other things. He found one of the fans wasn't running and swapped it out. I had a little set back as the starter failed Friday morning in Marble Falls but a quick call to Roger and Miguel brought one down Friday night. Jason was kind enough to let me use his trailer as an improvised lift and I swapped it out Saturday morning and had no other issues!
I dropped the car back at Mike's and Herman K is going to oversee a full respray in Midnight Blue Metallic. Looking forward to picking her up in a few months and bringing her back to ATL!

Congratulations! Beautiful car...
I see it has option 553, that implies that the speedometer has both MPH and KPH scales...
Can you include a photo or two of the instrumentation?
Regards

I'm back in Atlanta and the car is in Grand Prairie, TX but will see if I can get a pic of the dash next couple days.

My 87 S4 came stock without the rub strips and I do like the look. If it were anything other than a 95 it wouldn't be a thought but since it is a 95 I'm going to give it some serious thought as well as talk to a couple of folks I know who deal in the classic car market.

It is a re-spray with a few miles, and you can always put them back on with adhesive...
Enviable position you are in with a 95 in such a great color combination!

Update
Herman Koster picked up the GTS from Mike Hendricks place last Friday and it's now in Rockport. Herman will oversee the disassembly, paint and reassembly. It should be done a couple weeks after the New Year. I did decide to remove the rub strips as part of the project.
Herman will be sending pictures as things progress and will post along the various stages.

Congrats. I have the same cell phone and console option. Initially I was going to remove it but glad I kept it. I did remove the battery pack and put it into storage since they can leak from what I have been told.

Thanks for the tip. the phone does power up and says 'no signal" so will remove the battery as you suggest and put it on the shelf.
