Tom and I met Mike in Telluride during the Cars and Colors show. I had my S4 out and he came over and was so excited to see a 928. He wanted me to post this video of his OB 928 with a small block Chevy. He wanted Tom and I to give a shout out to the 928 community and George in particular. Great guy and very fun to meet him. A definite 928 fan.

To better control the bouncing at high speeds you could have the shocks rebuilt by Performance Shock at Sonoma raceway. They do great work, with quick turnaround times. A touch more rebound damping should stabilize things quite a bit. Ideally having adjustable shocks (like the penskes that Tim and Cheryl ran) are ideal as you can adjust them yourself to suit the track-conditions. Of course adjustable shocks are not cheap, my bilsteins were NOT externally adjustable so the only way was to take apart and adjust valving internally
I had my bilsteins serviced and rebuilt by PSI, made a huge improvement as they were over 10 years old. Found un-even gas pressure and one had a bent shaft!

I found another video of my car (and a few others) crossing the finish line at the 2019 SSCC. My car appears at 4:10 into the video.
This was posted by a Japanese photographer/videographer who comes every year to cover the event for a Japanese magazine.
