First thing you want to do is invest in a fire extinguisher, next replace the steering fluid lines. Fluid was dripping onto the exhaust and smoking.
Just saying.

Jason, there won't be any car-b-que events. Rest assured.

The engine will be coming out as soon as I delve into it. This is a top-to-bottom, front-to-back prospect for me. The new hoses might just end up included on a 5k + parts invoice, if that gives you any further perspective into my expectations/plans.

Very good! Once sorted, a five speed '85 will be a fun car.
I will say that for the mileage on this car, the underside and suspension were in great shape.
And while I just met Zoo, he clearly has a handle on transaxle Porsches...
Oh..and we will need to make more progress on some 85/86 air tubes for you.

Excellent news. Glad I passed. It'll get the love it deserves.

I'm taking an 88 over to the paint booth tomorrow. Planning to have it sprayed a metallic charcoal, with some multi-hue pearl.
