Truthfully I'm surprised nobody has found a proper rebuilder that can cast new rubber in place of the old.

The cores are cheap and plentiful at this point.

Not to beat a dead horse (though I'm about to), but as I have been staring at the mounts I bought from Roger (thanks again!) it occurred to me that when new might be a perfect time to fill in those holes with a silicone or urethane. It seems like opinions are a little divided on whether that would translate too much noise. I've still got some 50A urethane left from my 944 mount and, I don't know, should I? I'd be pretty happy if I never had to worry about replacing them again. Ugh, the indecision.

I have about 400 miles on the solid rebuilt mounts made by Waldo928 and I cannot sense any increased noise or vibration. That said, your new mounts should last until the year 2050.

I see you are in Nazareth as well, welcome.
