Looks like after market exhaust and something going on with the front fender and sill.

Wrong wheels. Seats look suspiciously non-928-like.

What's the purpose of this exercise?

Seats look original to me:

Looks like a decent car to me. Fair price as well, even the air filter is correct. What's the question?

Go take a test drive, get it inspected or have knowledgeable community member check it out. Nothings perfect until you confirm it.

Wasn't "perfect condition" one of the red flags in the 928's for sale thread?

the exhaust is aftermarket and the alloys are from the later car. These are minor issues and the original teledials are included in the sale. Having said that I'd put as much faith into "perfect car " as "aircon just needs a regas" and "one careful owner" (The other 7 were complete lunatics)

+1! Agreed. It’s a nice car, what’s the point?

I’m sure they will want a ton of money for it though, with only 23K miles and $12K spent recently. $55K reserve maybe? IDK

Can you post some hi-res photos of your 928? I'm sure if we have a standard to go by, it'll help up find the flaws in this one.

Its a nice car to be sure but not perfect as the ad repeatedly describes.

Drivers front fender looks repainted a different color in all photos.
