Default Old seat

What should I do with this old seat with shrunken cushion and worn side bolster? Is it worth saving?

That circuit board under the seat leads me to believe it is a memory seat. If anything that seat would make a great core to get redone.

New seat foam and leather covers would make this seat very presentable. Electronics/motors may need some work but I'd bet someone would like to have it as a core to refurbish.

I did restore a vinyl 944 seat before with sewing sections in by had. It's tedious work.
I just wonder if it's worth getting 1 complete seat cover or redo only the sections.

I would think that one is bad enough that an entire new 'skin' would be cheaper and easier than just the bad sections.

If you've done it before, you should be able to put a new cover on.

I know Classic 9 will sell just the cover, and you install it yourself (or have a local upholstery shop do it). Given where you are, shipping the entire seats to the US & back would not be an option.
