I'm assuming these are power seats. Underneath the front you'll find a coupler for the 2 side cables that more move the seat fore and aft. The ends of those cables are square and they mate into a square drive coupler connected to the seat motor, and they're locked in place by a clip. I had a problem with a seat I was installing where one of the cables came out of the square coupler just enough where it wasn't spinning even though the other side was, so only one track was moving. If this happened to the PO and he didn't get the two tracks or rails resynchonized before reinstalling and securing the drive cable that came loose, then the seat would be out of sync enough where it could bind when moving forward especially toward the end of the travel.
I would pull the seat, put it on a bench, find the cables and coupler I'm talking about, undo them, make sure both sides are in exactly the same position (probably easiest to go fully to one end or the other, then reconnect the capbles to the coupler, hook up a spare 12v battery to the motor and see if the seat then travels smoothly in the rails and to the full range of travel.
I'm holding the square end of one of the drive cables in my hand in the photo below. You can see the one on the other side is still put together.
Ok, I couldn’t have done this without you and the photo your shared for guidance. One side was off by maybe an 1/8 of an inch, but in revolutions that was plenty. I corrected it and things improved immensely! Thank you!
Happy Independence Day! 🇱🇷
Excellent. Glad you were able to get it sorted out.
