Default Power seat button on my 86.5 question

Power seat switch will not activate back and forward seat movement. All other functions of switch work. Does cover on switch pop off to clean contacts?

you might try putting 12v directly to the motor and see if it works. That motor is easy to get at in the front of the seat

I’m going to take cover plate off switch and spray electrical cleaner in little hole,see if that works

Which 'cover plate' do you mean?

The one that surrounds both switches has a couple screws holding it. That is simple to remove.

Disassembling the switches is a bit more involved. The 'rocker discs' do NOT come off (at least not if you want to put them back on).

The switch body (box part) separates and you can get to the inside, where the contact pieces are.
