What you have done with you S2 is amazing, and beautiful! I have enjoyed following your custom bodywork and paint. And you have made your 928 look simple, elegant, and bold. All of which I appreciate and in ways, envy. The wing overstates, and in the same time understates the look of your car. It compromises the look.
Your car deserves something more fitting.

You mentioned a noticable change in ride dynamics. How notable is this?

yeah, i know its not very subtle but it is SOOO functional! the grin factor whilst driving fast has increased dramaticaly, it makes that much difference that im prepared to for-go the previously clean lines.

it is now WAY more planted at speed especialy through sweepers. i must have a supercharger..

...hold on, you already have done it.

So it's that noticable huh? wow.

I've been thinkin' of something like this. Sans the 'S' spoiler (as you did), and the rear wiper.
It may not be as functional, but at speed (my speed) it will look simple and cool.

jim, the spoilers look is growing on me and i actualy like it!

id say im noticing a certain improvement in road feel at any speed above 70. about 120 it feels great, if i was to drive more slowly then the regular s4 spoiler would be adequate. with no spoiler on the rear at all cornering did suffer, i was surprised that deleting the 's' spoiler made a difference.

Does the severe angle of the wing affect acceleration at high speeds and does it affect top speed? Also, could you post a photo of the belly pan?

I haven't gotten a chance to work on mine yet. I drove it back from Houston and I developed some sort of vacuum or intake leak. I've had the manifolds off three times and nothing has changed. After Easter, I'll get back to it.

It was impressively free of lift , however : at its maximum speed of 140 MPH the lift at either end was no more than 60 lbs ." This was the original no spoiler car . It is very hard to FIX what is not broken !! The rear S spoilers and S-4 "wing" generate little downforce because there is NO NEED for down force and even less need for the drag created by making such "downforce" . Wings , flairs, hood scoops , NACA ducts , very wide tires are 99 % cosmetic and often detrimental to performance . Removing the mirrors probably will do more to reduce drag than anything else . With out a windtunnel to test modifications you are dependant on the ***-O-meter . Unfortunately that instrument is more accustomed to processing waste materials .......
