Hi all, wondered if there was a recommended VIN/auto check type service people are using these days for the short VIN OB's. Many won't even let you go past the first page as the VIN isn't recognized.

Also wondered if anyone has recommendations for transporters. I have used 1 terrible one who robbed me of my deposit (AUTO TRANSPORT SOLUTIONS) and the other good one I used retired. Looking for possible Midwest to NE transport.

I believe AUTOCHECK will work with a pre 17 digit VIN if you put ZERO in the preceding digits. I have an Autocheck report for my 79 that goes back to the early 90's
