I just purchased an 89 928 S4. I am trying to find a good diagnostic device. Dies anyone know where i could buy one? Also what is the best one?

I have been looking around also as I am struggling with my '88. I think that is the lowest cost solution, but still out of the range of what I want to spend right now. So I am just going through to process in the WSM. Which is slow, and frustrating, but cheap. I think that, in the end, most folks find the diagnostic tools don't tell you enough to make it worth the cost and effort.

Theo's tool work IF the LH/EZK(?) chips were upgraded and you have the 6 pin connector cable.

Wohah!! Thanks for posting Mark. How did I miss that up to now? I actually have a Bosch Hammer... But the PC tool is even better...

Wow! If it only worked for those of us that are 100% apple homes. Makes me want to buy a cheap PC or install windows on one of the newer Apple computers!
