Was visiting friends at Scarperia near Florence, next door to Mugello track -0 you can hear the bikes practicing most of the weekend. Something happening outside the track - want to go and see what it is? Not much!
Hill climb from near the track rear entrance to the top of the local hill. Spotted a 928 in the lineup - phone dials, so might be early. Dont know how he placed, bu there was some real competition - some very noisy, and fast 911s, an old Stanguellini (Fiat 1100), a couple of E types. Will post some pics when I get home. Many drivers bogged down as soon as they left the line, but a few really knew how to stay on song, and nearly blew my eardrums out!
