That is not ‘typical’ bug splatter.
That is 150mph-cruising-through-kansas bug splatter. Ummm... theoretically.

I recall driving my 72 911 in Florida and hitting so many love bugs that I had to stop driving and get out and clean the windows.
Lots of other experiences with bugs in Florida but that one stands out because I literally could not see out the windscreen... Nothing like hot acidic bug mush everywhere on meticulously cared for paint.
UGH!
I should own stock in Griot's.

I don't think I've ever actually met Mr. Griot, but I visit their store a few times a year, either to pick up something, or to see one of the car shows they occasionally host.
Definitely good quality products, and the guides help if you're just getting started in detailing your own rig.

I've found Griot's Speed Shine to be very good at bug removal as well.

Sure glad I live in the desert, we don't have to contend with any of this crap. The only bugs I see are VW's.
