Increasing our ability
It's no secret, we're trying to build the "go to" 928 repair/restoration/performance shop.
One of the things we were lacking was the ability to do really high quality alignments, in house....where we can view and control the results.
We just finished the installation of a complete "state of the art" Hunter alignment system, right in our shop. We used their 18,000 pound 4 post alignment rack, for a perfectly level platform with an extremely high degree of stability and their latest and greatest alignment system. I also hired the best alignment tech in all of Orange County, to do this work (Rocky Tussey, for you local guys that have had local alignments done.)
We've done 8 928 alignments in the past week....some of which were "just aligned" somewhere else.
What a difference great equipment and the ability to use it makes!
4 post Hunter alignment racks come in one size....huge.

Stop it Greg!
You are 1,908 miles away from me and I'm soooooo envious of those that can take their 928's to you on a regular basis...
I'm up here in 928 wilderness and have to do most everything on my own!
Congratulations and enjoy!

We had the “best” hunter system available in 2000... I know that’s a lot like saying we had the best cell phone in 2000, it doesn’t mean a damn thing by today’s standards. We had to raise the car off it’s wheels to install and calibrate the wheel sensors, then battle the lack of front suspension rebound by pulling it into compression with ratchet straps. Has the new system eliminated the need to raise the car off its wheels?
