Wiring harness bracket location
While under the car looking for a coolant leak (Which I found coming from the heater valve) I found this wiring bracket hanging. Does anyone have an Idea as to where it is supposed to be mounted? This is looking up into the back corner of the passenger side engine compartment.

there is a 6mm boss on the back of the cylinder head where this attaches.

Not super-fun to put back on with the engine in the car. Indicates cam cover R&R by flat-rate mechanic.

So, here's where I go off book - I screw in a stud with loctite on it into the hole and secure the harness with a bolt and washer. Much easier to place the harness support in place.

Like many things in life, it’s not hard the third time you do it.

Thank you so much guys. The picture is great Dave. Now I know exactly where it goes. Seth, that is another stroke of genius. Blue Loctite right? Hate to use the red if I don't have to. You know, I don't remember it being there when I did the upper end refresh. but then it's getting harder to remember anything anymore

1. Followed your advise Kevin and places a 30mm stud in the hole. Ran it through and put a jam nut on the back side, slid over easily. I probably would not have though of that.
2. Thank you Dave for the excellent picture. I tried to put the bracket in place and use an M6 bolt but it was to difficult to hold the bracket in place and start the bolt. It probably was a flat-rate mechanic at one point, but I don't see it in any of the pictures I took during the upper end refresh. But then....It could have been me.
