Help me please.. going crazy..
OK, perhaps a little off topic...
My wife just got a new to her 2007 Pontiac Solstice GXP with 40K miles on it. Cream puff of a car, super well maintained. 2.0L Turbo engine producing 260HP.
She found out that the 0-60 time is 5.5 seconds and then asked me what the 928 was capable of, but while asking me she looked it up for herself. "oh, it's 5.5 as well... You mean my car is as good as your 928?"
Now everyone she talks to she tells them she got a new car and oh, it's as good as Nick's 928!! I did point out that it only has a theoretical top speed of 140, well below the 928's and really didn't go into all the other things I could point out. She does need to have her fun and I don't want to rain on her parade.. but oh wow.. enough already

Any crapcan can go 0-60 in under 6 seconds. Ask her which car she'd rather take on a 1,000 mile highway drive.

And this is why you need a supercharger.

No matter, all kidding aside, it's cool that you have a savvy car wife - makes life more fun

I dunno. Thinking a Pontiac is as good as a Porsche doesn't seem all that 'car savvy' to me.
The OP should just find a place where there's three or four roundabouts close together.
Pick a time when traffic is light and race her through.
Better yet, go through until the last one, then come back the other way.
0 - 60 times are only a measure of how the car accelerates. Cars have to do a lot more than that in the real world.

Rule #1, women should be obscene, and not heard!

See how it goes when you spot another woman, with similar measurements to your wife, and you tell her “see ? she’s as good as you”

How many people have started conversations with her about her Pontiac or said "nice car"... crickets?
What's that Pontiac going to look like and drive like in 40 years?
Points for sass, but you need to reestablish your dominance. Just pass her at 125 when she's giving it all she's got.
Oh, and get going on the supercharger install - just tell her you're changing your intake, which is technically accurate.
