Default Web Site help...

I am using MS FrontPage to builf a rennlist site. When I upload my first page the picture doesn't load, there is an x inside a square instead. Yes I am new at this so this could and probably is a stupid question.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Make sure the picture is also uploaded.

Also check that the picture link is referencing the web, not your hard drive.

The picture is part of my front page, do I have to load it separately anyway?

Not usually. Just look on your site Jim, browse the folders, and drop the pic there for now. Give me a holler I can help. Ultimately if it fails we can pull JD off the important work he's doing elsewhere ;-)

FrontPage usually tries to put your images into an "images" folder... which won't work. Open the html file in notepad and make sure that every link to an image looks like "./imageFilename.jpg" (or .gif or .jpeg or whatever). There is a way to set FrontPage to automatically save this way, but I would have to check FP at work... (ugh... not on my home PC)

Thanks for the help everyone. I got it to work somehow, I actually have a front page (index page) with a picture on my site! Now I need to figure out how to set up a link side bar. This is all totally new to me but fun.

Cheers
