Going from CIS to EFI. Which intake manifold to use?

When converting a 1978 CIS car to EFI you need to have an intake manifold fir electronic injectors. Some people make their own fuel rail but I heard that there are 928 manifolds that can be used directly without machining. This will alter the looks of the engine but seems to be the easiest route. Which intake manifold can be used on a 4.5L CIS engine?

I have an 80's engine that had the early EFI, and it already has injector bungs, fuel rails, and regulators.
I'd say that even ignoring the factory injectors/rails/regulators, the l-jetronic intake manifold would be the easy way to go.
Using the CIS throttle body and filter housing, with the fuel distributor and metering plate removed is an option as well.

User BC has a fuel rail setup available for an L-Jet car that might come in handy for you. He was going to use it on the 4.7L engine I bought from him, and I didn't take it because I'm moving over my K-Jet setup. Maybe send him a PM.

Any 928 intake from 80-84 in the US will fit. The 84-86 euro ones will fit as well but keep in mind the runners are larger in diameter and will lower intake velocity. Meaning a loss in low end.
The US manifolds are also plentiful and cheap, unlike the euro ones...
