If you're going to that much effort, I think it would make far more sense to put a Holley Sniper in place.

Huh, I can't count how many 914's I've seen where the FI was ditched for carbs...but a 928 is a new one to me.
I am curious how they ran the intake from the original throttle body to the carb. I'm certainly not interested in a conversion, but this does intrigue me for some reason! Very shade-tree solution IMO.

'A' for creativity.

That seems like a LONG intake track for atomized fuel to get through... i think there may be a reason that designs like this were short lived in production.

I especially like the "screwdriver" ignition key!

This is disturbing. And wrong.
However, I will say it is better done than the cretin that used a Rochester 2GC and a home-made manifold of plumbing fittings.

The Ferrari 308 line-up came with four DCNF Webers prior to the conversion to CIS. If i were to go to carbs on a 928, I would choose the same method, with very short runner intakes. Lot of intake design and construction though. Not loving the Rochcester plan.

Ah yes.

The blue one.
'Cuz a 2 barrel 'Rotten-Chester' is a better choice than Bosch K-Jet.
But, at least there's room for another one.

We really need a 'puking' emoticon.

Shawn, you were fairly close when you posted "Amazing".

Just a '-ly' and then your favorite profane pejorative.
Amazingly stupid
Amazingly sh!tty.
Amazingly fvcking retarded.

Don't forget the red one. Foglights in the spoiler, cut out rear bumper with a 944 light panel in it. "928.5" on the back in stick on numbers.
And an Edelbrock 4 barrel.

I took a quick look, but couldn't find it.
