Impromptu get together at Oregon Cars and Coffee this past weekend
This past Saturday, my neighbor Cyrus and I went to the local Car-and-Coffee event here in Wilsonville Oregon. It was a nice surprise to run into 3 928's cars and four owners. Some long-time owners and a couple newbies! It was great meeting everyone and we had a good time checkout the cars and talking about how to fix everything!
It was a good group and nice to see some other owners out there keeping the 928's on the road. Once upon a time Oregon had a pretty active 928 community but over the years it has gone largely dormant. A few new owners are coming into the mix again and there is renewed energy once again. I am hoping to plan out a regional get together in May and have interest from Louie Ott, Ken (Porken) and Neil D'Autenment, as well as the folk's pictured below. I'll keep you updated. In the meantime enjoy the photos!
Randy on the left with his 1988 AT with an AWESOME GOLD intake and valve covers and lost of old school enhancements from Nicole! I am in the middle with my 1988 5spd Jay on on the right with his newly acquired 1982 5spd with gold rims and brown tint window It's in tiptop condition. Truly and lovely car.
Beauty shot of my car with the winter wheels on.
This is Randy's car and this photo is of me with a local longtime 928 OB owner. He didn't bring his car but managed to come and share some knowledge
Cool Blaupunkt Portland Radio and some of Nicole's awesome trim in Randy's car
