Lightbulb A better T-belt

Dual belts on an F40. 16 bent valves are better than 32. LOL

Yes, but whats driving the bottom drive wheels? are there two cranks geared together, or one crank driving two intermediate gears driving the belts. Note that left block belt is running anti-clock, right block is clock-wise, so I would go for the belts being driven by intermediate shafts....if you shed a belt on one of these, would you just do one bank? Scary stuff.

One bank of valves on each head is driven by a gear engaged onto the belt only 90 degrees.

Maybe an internal chain driving the two bottom gears. the tensioner is on the same side, and they are turning the same direction.

Doc, You've forgotten to put in all the units in that equation:

16 bent Ferrari valves are better than 32 bent Porsche Valves

Only in theory...

If you think that is bad, look at the whole site...

Some may not like Ferraris but you have to appreciate the machine itself.

Quite a daunting task, to say the least.

Oh. My. God.

I just surfed though the show and didn't bother to read the German... but, I wonder just how much was spent on parts?!

I love Ferraris - most of them... I could do without the 400i and one or two others.

As far as owning one goes... I still have more sense than money. But, I'm working on that...

Oh. My. God.

You can buy an (unwrecked) F40 for less than that.

And I thought that the 8 month $10,000 "restoration" of my GT was a big job.

How about the speedometer, now 00000?

Should I say buyer beware?

Do they sound diferent because the cranks are flat/single plane, where most V8s are two plane? Somehow they say that p\flat cranks are better for top end power, but dont balance as well as two plane.....Ferrari only ever made one two plane engine...... which was it?

Yeah but Earl,
You only have 10,050 into that whole car including the restoration. LOL

Send me your speedometer, there is a guy in PGH that can make it read 00000 too.
