Meeting at 7am, Von's parking lot in Malibu, drive to Santa Barbara, food at Phil's dealership. Here is a proposed route.

I had a great time a few weeks back by taking hwy 150 through Santa Paula, through Ojai and then on out to the coast to SB. Getting from Malibu to Santa Paula via several fun canyons to the 23 through Westlake, on to Moorpark and Fillmore, then down the 126 to Santa Paula across the 150 through Ojai and out to the coast and up to SB. Total trip (TOUR) time I estimate at 2.5 hours. "...a three hour tour..."

Just an FYI to those who may do the trip.....be really careful pulling past Ventura up towards the open areas just north of there. If you saw the OT I wrote regarding airplanes patrolling and citing speeders (see Lounge under "26 over the limit" it gets more specific.) Don't just rely on radar / lazer detectors if you go over the posted speed limit up there or it could be T-R-O-U-B-L-E!!!!! Have fun!
