Not sure if it's your year or not, but as I understand it the early rubber boot on the tensioner is NLA. Greg Brown makes an adapter to use the later boot, but no personal experiance so double check.

This is an 81, and Roger has just put a rebuild kit in the mail. Last one I tried to rebuild I knocked all the disk on the floor. Then I was at a complete loss so I bought a Porken. This time I'm going to be very very careful. I know GB likes the original unit better than the PT.

I am following because hopefully some good info will be gathered. My stack of discs also came apart. I have everything cleaned and have a new rubber boot and a new Porkensioner (the old version). But I kinda lost faith in it since all this discussion about the travel of adustment not being long enough after a head reconditioning.

Even if your stack of discs comes apart just assemble them in groups of five, there is no reason the washers themselves are not interchangeable. My ‘83 had seven such groups. I think I saw a thread mentioning that the earliest version(s) used six such groups. They must be oriented as shown. The key is the orientation, from the bolt end on left to boot end on right it’s this:
