I am in need of a spare hazard switch if anyone has one they can part with. I experienced a short in the hazard wiring harness, melting at least one of the wires running into the connector for the switch. I haven't had the damage evaluated yet but I think I need to start out by comparing my hazard switch to a good one and see if the short is internal to the switch itself.

I brought this on myself when I was upgrading to LEDs in the switch and reconnected the battery to check that the LED polarity was correct and lit up the switch. After cycling the switch a few times, the harness started smoking and by the time I got the battery disconnected, I lost most of the insulation on a small brown (I think it used to be brown) wire and the heat fused the insulation on several of the other wires in the bundle. My local indy can't take it for a week so as I wait to tow it over there, I might be able to isolate it to the switch itself. So, anybody have a spare they want to sell or even lend. (I promise I won't put power on it.)
