Default fuel system replacement on '78

Has anyone done an aftermarket fuel injection system on the 928. If I don't get the mechanical fuel injection working properly I am going to look at another solution. I am toying with the idea of a throttle body aftermarket system like the holley pro-jection. How much lag will there be by using the stock intake?

the intake "manifold" for the 928 is designed to flow AIR , mounting a carburetor or a A Holly throttle body injection (carb replacement ) is asking the intake to flow FUEL and air . It will do a poor job at best with fuel not been distributed evenly and falling out of suspension . The CIS injection is a very good injection rather simple the fuel distributor and control pressure regulator do just about everything .

Sure people have.

But if you follow the boards dirictions, you will get the CIS system working just fine. It's simple, reliable, and effective, what more could you ask for?
