Nope. You can Thank BC for ruining it for everyone. A very informative thread that had a ton of information shared over a few years was ruined by BC. You can find some videos detailing some of the work on Youtube but nothing as detailed as what was being shared here by Tuomo.

 

How does one participant cause a whole valuable multiyear thread to disappear?

Actually, i probably don't want to know.

How do we get it back?

BC brought up prior legal wrangling with engine builder kuhn and thread was closed ,

 

Can't entirely blame BC for that, the Ptumov thread sorta flew under the radar for years high lighting a banned forum members work. BC's posts could have been deleted and no one would be the wiser so it's not his fault. I'd suggest asking the mods if you want more details.

 

By the look of it it was Tuomo that decided to close his own thread, not the mods.

 

Just saw that. Makes it more interesting. Mods could have deleted BC's post and all would have been fine, but feelings were hurt and it was closed.

 

Tuomo, was a great source for information, and a fantastic person, he really helped me after we put the supercharger on my 928. The Polecat has been supercharged for 30 years, yet both cars are completely different! Neither car acts like the other.

 

Super simple. John and his brother threaten people - "In real life" as the GenZ set likes to say. Either it is allowed to exist or it isn't. And I will make sure I call it out, and EVERYONE here would too.
