Default Black 1995 GTS for sale

On Cars For Sale.com there is a Black 95 GTS 5 speed, 24,000 miles listed for, ( now get this) $18,000.00 at Tyser Auto Sales, Dorchester, Ne. Pictures look good
and it has a Nevada plate in the photos.

I already have a money pit 928, but some of you gluttons for punishment, might like to jump on a GTS that's cheap. I think the add is BS, but what do I know?

BTW, if that's the advertised price, don't they have to sell it for that price?

That can't be real at that price or a tainted history, salvaged title, something... seems crazy at that price

Here's the link.

Interesting.

I called the number but keep getting disconnected before getting sent to voicemail. I sent an email message offering to buy the car with an immediate deposit so we will see what happens.

I'm thinking more like $118,000.00. I think it could be parted out for more than 18K, even with a salvage title.

FWIW, if I liked the GTS model, I'd have been all over it, but heard to many horror stories, about engines guzzling oil like you own a well, bad rods, etc. Personally, I think the GTS is over rated. I'm happy with my supercharged POS 89.

if you leave the carsforsale.com site and got to his web site (http://www.tyserautosales.com) there are only a couple trucks, pickups, non of the cars at carsforsale.com. Calling BS!

Probably the carsfor sale site was hacked, and someone is looking to abscond with down payment money. Like most thieves, they are too stupid to know that if they had made the prices more believable, they'd get actual suckers and cash in!

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. If it's too good to be true, it probably isn't.

Not a fair comment. I have to defend my Grey Lady.

Your "supercharged POS 89" to my GTS is apples vs oranges. Not all GTSs have oil and rod issues. I can provide the approx VIN of the change over point when they went from R1 to R2 if you need it; ask Roger for details as to what conditions you might want to worry about rods; my S3 cams make it pretty close to a GT. It is probably not as robust an engine as you need, but it suites me fine. )
