Had a wonderful time as always. Great seeing the new faces and seeing old friends that we only see at this event. Really sucked that I felt like chit all weekend.

Got some issues with the hotel, once again.

Andy and I shared the room and on check in we each gave our cards so the room charges would be split. No problem right? Well, so far Andy and I have both been charged for both nights, and then charged again for a single night. So according to both our banks, we have been charged $534 for a two night stay, will be calling again today.

Also, we had a few non 928 people come that are personal friends and they were the recipients of some rather negative comments on Saturday/Saturday night and while most made them feel very welcome, a few people made it so they have zero desire to come back. One was from a couple of our ladies towards a 2nd time coming lady friend of one of our DFW crew. Very poor form in my opinion and thought all of us were better than that.

Default Our DFW Ladies Are The Best

I don't see any benefit to calling out any one on a public forum. It's not productive. It's not beneficial and We have WAYYYYY more friendly people in our group than unfriendly.
Third Coast is one of the most fun most friendly events in the Nation. I for one wish it were more diverse and I would love to work towards that.

I'm very sorry for whomever's feelings got hurt and whatever was said. I don't need to know to whom or what was said, but I promise you had I known, Mike, my personal friends and I would have made it up to the offended person in spades.

I am very proud of our DFW ladies and think we are the friendliest of the bunch. So, SR, let's put an end to that discussion right now.

Default Winners 2019 Third Coast Car Show & Shine

Congratulations to the winners of the 2019 Third Coast Show & Shine Event. We had alot of fine cars there this year. It's always my favorite event and it always flys by so fast. I wish it lasted longer.

Sean I am so sorry that this happened and certainly not a normal situation for TC. If you could pass on my/our sincere apologies to whoever was offended.
We are a very diverse group and all are welcome. Unless you say something no one would be aware of what happened.

This was my lady friend's second Third Coast. She really enjoyed it, commented once again on how super friendly all the people were to her and wants to return next year.

I know I have generally been amazed at how friendly and helpful 928 people are. My suspicion is that it stems from two main things: respect for owning one of these amazing cars and being part of a tribe that is often treated as lower caste by owners of other Porsche models. I think the fact that this year featured People's Choice awards for both 928 and non-928 cars is evidence that the group does not look down on owners of other cars.

Jim presented Roger with an Award for being such an outstanding parts supplier.

It was GREAT seeing our old friends and Lots of new faces this year. It was fantastic. Staying up late with every one in the parking lot is always tons of fun.
What a great 928 Family we have. It fills my heart to know that little Mikey has grown to be a part of the 928 group as well. He loves the cars and he has enjoyed coming to Third Coast now for 10 years or so and this year he worked so very hard on doing some updates to his 928 and cleaning it up. His instagram is proof positive of how much he loves the 928, Third Coast, the DFW Group and his Beloved 924 as well.

I will have to get Little Mikey on Rennlist so he can share his work and enthusiasm (if his dad approves).

We had some Great 928s that were there. The drives were awesome and I really thought the lunch at the square worked well because we all got to pick a place to eat and shop.
Does anyone have a list of the Non-928s that were there, and or pics. I know there were some really good ones, but I was too busy chatting.
