GREAT JOB with the master key! I actually have a master torn down and was getting ready to do the exact same thing. Nicely done and now I feel more confident on what I was planning.
The leather key pouch is factory for later cars. Have one with my GT.
Your spare area appears to be missing the plastic spare tire bag that has BF Goodrich printed on it.

Thanks for the reply.
Spare tire bag? Very interesting said Col. Klink.
Do you have an image of one? Anybody?
Thanks!

Here's one from Minerva:
And from another early '78:
And the bag from my '90GT, though it doesn't say continental on it, not sure if it changed in the interim.

RE: the key pouch, I came across a bit in Mark Haab's 911 book that says the pouch is '87+.

I’m in need of another if you run across a couple.

Big Day for 01117 / Long Beach PCA Concours
It was time to put the rattle cans, micro fibers and polish away. 01117 was entered into the PCA Long Beach concours on Saturday, January 18th.
Ready for judging to start.
A massive thank you for Rob "VIN No." Edwards and William 'Minerva' Anast to come up help with the final preparations.
The "A" team has arrived.
Lesson for anyone starting to Concour a car with new Pasha velour. The black specks land only on white squares. The white specs only land on the black squares. Massive delinting effort to make black black and white white.
The Judges were total professionals. Very polite and held to precisely 5 min per car. They provided immediate feedback and were almost apologetic in pointing out issues. Score sheets were provided after the awards ceremony for critiquing and improvement on the next event. Really impressive.
And the results in class C-9 for Full Concours:
Tom Reichenberg showed up in the afternoon just in time for the awards ceremony.
Not pictured is Mark Anderson and Mike Pelly.
The first posting on this thread was January 12th, 2019. If not for their efforts, knowledge, enthusiasm and perseverance, 01117 would not be finished today. I am extremely grateful to these guys for their help and friendship. It's made this past year a blast.
