Driven Oil was the first brand I saw directly marketing to DI engines:

Local shop has a couple customers with Audi's that have the Lamborghini V10 installed. After so many miles they take the intake off and clean everything up from all the build-up, which can actually cause a check engine light.
Previous gen BMW diesels from around 2010 have the same carboning up issue causing a check engine light. The only way to fix it is to either pull the head or walnut blast the intake valves.

I think VW got it down from what I can tell with the 2.0 tdi engine as far as buildup goes.It too takes special oil to prevent buildup. Synthetic only as far as I know.

Hamburg to Berlin for the long haul in the A24? My best time was 1h:27m from Maschener Kreuz to Potsdam... 325 km late at night, I think it was a Saturday night as I don't remember passing many trucks.

Wasn't in a 928 though..

Bonjour,
I finally went to the Porsche Museum!!! So great place except that in the museum there is almost nothing about the 928... frustrating on this...
I corrected also this big mistake on the front of the museum : only the 911 family on display!!!
So I put my 928 in front of the museum for the picture with the 911, on the back, as a nice background!!!
My 928 was so happy to come back home!!! At the place she was at that time : #1!!!

So we did a party together on the Autobans : so great freeways there! And on these freeways, the 928 is #1!!!
Have all a great day,
Raphaël
