I can't add to any of the above, it's too early in the morning. But, I'll be there!

At least one of them owned a 928.

I think we all had a really good time today at the breakfast. Somewhere around 22 people attended. Weather was perfect I thought. Simon had his new to him 86.5. A really nice car. And Chris was showing off his 81(?) Another really nice car. Lots and lots of serious 928 knowledge showed up (Roger, Sean, Sterling, Jim Mayzurk, Randy, Simon, Brad, Martin), but again I forgot to take pictures. Maybe someone took some and will post them.

I used to take phone pictures at every breakfast and save to a flash drive, etc. I don't know if it's age, or old timer's disease, or just straight up forgetfulness, but I can't seem to remember to take pictures. And besides, Doc Mirror wasn't there.

I sure wish these were lunches instead of breakfasts! I truly would like seeing you all more often but, as an old night owl widower owner of an old dog, early morning gatherings that far away just don't work for me.

Come on Brad, Sean lives in Denton too and now that it's much closer to you, it's do-able. One Friday a month you can go to bed early.

Brad,
If you want to set up another meal-type GTG, JUST SET ONE UP WHERE YOU WANT IT TO BE , but on a different weekend than the breakfast weekend. Make it a lunch or a dinner if you want. Invite the masses and see who shows up. I'm always surprised by who shows up and at which location when we have our breakfasts. You just never know.

The thing is: breakfast affords the attendees the opportunity to do something else with their day. Work on cars, mow the yard, go to kid's sports events etc.
Lunch can kill a whole day and dinner obviously kills a night. Any previous plans will get in the way of attending a GTG lunch or dinner.

I can attest that Sean left the breakfast and was able to replace motor mounts on a customer's car and be done before mid-afternoon. I did a fine job of watching him.

I'll be happy to try that. It would be a Saturday lunch. If even modestly interested please let me know if you prefer:
Denton or Roanoke?
Type of food?
Any Saturday in February.?

Also, I live in Robson Ranch. Let me know if you would like to tour this place and I can schedule a lunch in the Wildhorse Grill here. Lunch is moderately priced and you can tour all of the facilities if you are curious about this community. It is a gated community for active seniors with some nice amenities and tons of clubs to help you meet people. One spouse needs to be aged 55+, the other can be 40+.

At 73, I consider 55's to be juniors, not seniors, but the gates make this the safest place in Denton county.

Brad
