That's about all I can download at this moment guys... unfortunately I documented most of this project on my old Galaxy s3 and well it's really screwed up and I'm having extreme difficulties removing all of the files from it.

The current engine setup is based on a LS2/6.0L block with a .4.065 bore (same as stock LS3/6.2L) a 3.62" stroke Wiseco 4340 crankshaft, forged JE FSR 12to1 cr pistons, all ARP studded top and bottom end, Scat 4340 I-beam 6.100" rods, the cylinder heads are Trickflow "Fast as Cast 220" units prepped by Brian Tooley Racing (BTR) topped off with Yella Terra ultralight roller rocker arms the camshaft is also a BTR custom road race grind with GM LS7 lifters, the intake manifold is a BTR prepped FAST LSXR 102mm with a Holley Sniper 92mm tb. The headers are modified JBA 1 7/8" long tubes for a C6/Z06. Engine management is accomplished utilizing a MegaSquirt MS3x in full sequential setup... this is mated to the original Porsche G28-05 5 speed lsd transaxle using engine mounts, bellhousing and tt adapter designed and machined by Rennlist member XSChop... by the way, his pieces made this all fit very nicely! At this time I have driven it about 200 miles since it was dyno tuned back in I believe October of 2018. So far so good, but now I'm moving forward and pulling the G28 transaxle for a C5/Z06 T56 swap, I know if I don't change the transmission it will self destruct behind this engine it made 480 whp/430 wtq at 7,250 rpm on the chassis dyno. Onward and hopefully upward!

No judging! If you haven't, check out the Just Peachy thread for similar build! Nice looking install! And there is nothing like driving down to your nearest auto parts store for parts!

Yeah Just Peachy and Z06/Pro Tour are super nice builds... I doubt mine will reach that level of refinement, it's intended to be more of a weekend track day/occasional street car. I've always felt (as others do) that the 928's chassis and basic architecture are very overlooked when considering and viable platform for an extreme performance "do everything good" car choice. Cheers to all the "17 better" owners and enthusiasts!

Thanks! I was nervous as hell...lol, I've assembled countless performance engines for others over the years, all different makes and levels and still every time I dyno one for the 1st time I get nauseous before I get a couple of clean pulls behind me... so funny. It does 565hp 505tq at the crank, really nice long linear power curve, pulls clean and strong to 7,250 then holds flat to 7,500... Brian did a perfect job with the cam profile and timing!

I've considered adding a "flex fuel" module to enable burning e85 ... would really like to pass the magic 500 whp number for some dumbass reason... go figure right?

Good job. I like it. Nice RW numbers. I don't blame you for wanting to hit 500. It's a magical number. LOL. Good luck with it.

That's a lot of extra work and tuning for 20 rwhp.

The car is already insanely fast, but if you're feeling motivated, why not?
