If it were a 5-spd it would be too good to be true. But it's not. My guess is that Willhoit buy's it for $60,000 and tries to sell it for $100,000.

I would like to know who the current celebrity owner is and whether those are the original wheels.

My bet is it won't make the reserve.

I remember seeing "left over" '95's advertised by dealers for $64,000 in '96. I believe the base price on a '95 was $82,260.

Actually base price was $85,085.00. But why would anyone buy this car brand new, let it sit for 8 years and lose about $20k in the process. You always wonder about some of the mussle cars in the 1970 that cost around $5,000.00 that some old lady drove to church once in a while, is worth $20,000 to $200,000. Why are the 928's which we all think are one of the greatest cars ever made that cost upwards of $100,000.00 worth so little 10-20 years later?

Only losing $2500/yr isn't bad. What do you think other similar low-mileage 1995 cars are worth? Ferarri? Corvette? Mercedes?

There is always the buyer with more moey than brains who doesn't realize that nowadays you can get a much more refined car for that kind of money.

Of course things might be different in a few years as the collectability increases, but it is a shame to let these cars sit. They are meant to be driven!

very nice car, but even though it has only 6,000 miles on it the timing belt needs to be changed now just due to age, and I see no record of it being done in the description, if only I had enough money though, I would pic it up

1662, It boils down to popularity. Were do you ever really see the 928 pushed on the public anywhere. Miami vice pushed the Ferrari. Smokey and the Bandit pushed the T/A. Corvette summer with the Vette. I am sure there are dozen more but the point is clear. Even back in production days I do not remember strong advertisement on the 928 and I always liked them even back in 83 when I started driving. Risky Busniess and Scareface is where I have seen them the longest and that is not much. If you put the 928 in a trendy series or really emphesize it in a big hit movie I am sure the value of our cars will go up substancially.

BTW, That is one nice ride. I can only dream at this point.
