Default 928 in the snow photo...

Ive seen recently, an image of an early 928, bronze in color I think, in snow, with lady skiers on each side..and I cant find it..maybe it was old promotional material? Not sure.

Anyone else seen it?

So cool !! Looks a bit higher than stock. LOL.

I remember around '99 or 2000 driving my GT in a snowstorm to pick my ex up from work. Snowing heavier and heavier on the way home. Got about a mile from the house and started having issues with the car not tracking properly. Got out and discovered the front end was riding on top of the snow which lifted the weight off the front wheels. We made it to the house, but just barely.

Chris,

I was talking with Drooman the other day about this car and a few other early cars that had tall springs on them. Droo is working on what I recall as #24 right now and it has the tall springs.

We have also figured out that this car is the Geneva Show car FWIW.

If you look close, the car has Ferry Porsche's slight butt print dent on the hood from when they took this picture. Ferry probably used the car to go skiing himself given him being an avid skier and his skiers tan in this famous shot.

Enjoy!

Wow, that is a beautiful car, and pic in general. I love the combination of the interior with the Guards Red. The window trim being silver/natural instead of black has a good look as well. Just gorgeous!

Thanks for the info. What a wonderful car to go hit the slopes with.
