I am, yes.

I considered that...

If I wanted a set of surfboard mounts, they would not be TOO hard to do just that, and then adhere a rubber layer to them. Just the 3D plastic may be too fragile..have to think about that.

Could I ask you what dimensions your rack is? I have found a few Eckel racks online that are similar and I would like to try to buy the closest dimensions if possible. thanks, NICE RACK!
